We absolutely love him. From the little cameo off the bench against Forest for his debut, he's impressed in literally every game. I love it when players come ready to contribute immediately. Speaks volumes about his mentality as well as how well he's been coached so far in his career. I truly hope you live to regret letting him leave.

That’s totally fair enough. I respect that take. All things considered, this might be a move that suits all parties. City get £40m for a rotational player, we get an up and coming talent that could potentially be great and Palmer gets the security of a long contract as well as a more important status within a team.

If the little snippets of rumour were true then him getting away from Manchester and the other lads he mixed with will make as big a difference for the lad as anything. I wish him nothing but well myself.

Basically traded Palmer for Doku money wise.

Doesn't matter palmer wanted out from last season asked to leave! We could have said no you have 3 years left suck it up or we do like we always do listen to the player and what he wants..

That can sometimes be the case. I remember that being the case with a Chelsea lad as well, who ended up being a decent Championship player over the years. Hopefully he builds a good group of people around him here in London and hopefully he goes from strength to strength.

I actually thought this was our weakest performance this season. We didn’t really create much outside the goals, which sounds weird in a game we won 4-1 but I think this was more a 2-1 sort of game. Burnley didn’t help themselves. Brilliant result though.
