Never understood the hype around Poch, total myth of a manager. He was being talked up as a Pep replacement at one point, thankfully looks like that ship has well and truly sailed. I'd be delighted if he ends up at the rags, he can continue the fine work Ten Hag has started.
He had a really good young team at Spurs that were good on the eye. They got to a Champions League final against a Liverpool team that caused us no end of problems around that time and were beaten early doors by a shit penalty decision. They knocked us out that season.

Managers really shouldn’t be judged solely on trophies at clubs like Tottenham, Dortmund, Atletico Madrid because they’re in leagues with City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

This is bonkers. Is Peter Swales in charge? Irrespective of what you think of Poch, to change your manager every year is no way to build a club. Boehly spends a fortune putting the players on long term contracts, finishes up with a double size squad, not bought to fulfil any cohesive plan, and then expects the manager to sort it out double quick. Just last week he said that the plan was working. What plan? In order to stay within PSR he pulls a sleight of hand trick selling a hotel from one co to another. This after the transfer from Abramovich effectively gave them a billion or two in owner funding providing a flying start. This is the man who was going to teach English football how it should be done. What, by destabilising a club? Just nuts. Boehly is a brainless big mouth.

I'm not judging him on trophies, I'm judging him on the way his Spurs side finished third in a two horse title race and his spell at PSG manager, where the best he could offer before our Champs League game was wheeling in Ferguson to give a pre game motivational speech. Didn't work, we totally outplayed them and his team resorted to kicking the shit out of us for the remainder of the game.

Don't really need to add much on his time at Chelsea, but in his defence they're a freak show and he was probably mad to go anywhere near them in the first place.
