Kompany being linked with Chelsea and Bayern Munich is incredible considering how bad of a job he did this season with Burnley
They probably see the potential in Vinny though and think working with better players he can execute his style more smoothly, he’s also young and hungry, clubs are looking for that next Xabi Alonso type manager.

I feel like Tuchel and De Zerbi are gonna end up at United and Chelsea, don’t know which way round but either would make both teams better.
Two decent managers. Would either risk Chelsea? Rags might persuade one.

You can pick isolated moments in any manager’s career. Ferguson sent his United team out to kick fuck out of Arsenal once, Pep chose the Champions League final to leave out both Rodri and Fernandinho for the first time that season, Carlo Ancelotti got hammered 4-0 at our place and responded by shithousing for penalties the year after, Pep gave in to the wishes of his Bayern players for a Champs League semi final and got bummed by Madrid.

He was a good manager at Spurs who very nearly guided perennial losers to Premier League and Champions League trophies.

Paris are a basket case and Chelsea are worse.

He did well at Spurs and hasn't done since, yet continues to get touted for top jobs. He's also made two poor choices in the team's he has chosen to manage. No one made him take either job. Aside from one spell at Spurs, which is quite a while ago now, I haven't seen anything from him to indicate that he's a top manager.

Ferguson, Pep and Ancelotti, to use your own examples all had more than enough credit in the bank to excuse those 'isolated mistakes', which didn't span years and multiple clubs.

Wash your mouth out. Pep doesn’t make mistakes.
