You're entitled to your opinion. You're even entitled to do your best to start an argument as you have.
But equally, I'm entitled to be excited to see our team, which has possibly seen the biggest shake up of personnel ever in Prem history show some promise after what was imo our worst season ever.
And just for the record, seeing how a very new and young team starts to gel over multiple games is much different to a one off match such as the Charity Shield.

He’s very good if the rest of the team can give him just the keeper to beat from 4 yards at the back post, several times a game.I didn't want Raheem from the outset. He's arguably not been consistent enough for the last 2-3 seasons.

And pre season results mean absolutely fuck all. It’s conditioning and has zero correlation to the following seasons success. Ten Hag’a rabble won all their pre season games last season then lost the first two league games.

Can't see them getting top 4. They're going to have to drastically improve, as they were pure shite in the last campaign. And also hope that one of last season's top 4 regresses. And I just don't see it with that team/squad.
