Doesn’t even make the top few headlines on the BBC. You have to click the Juve one to read about it.
Yeah, BBC cunts at it again. Anybody who thinks they treat us the same as the red tops is deluded.

This is hidden away on the BBC Sport pages:

Chelsea have agreed a settlement with Uefa and will pay 10m euros (£8.6m) for "submitting incomplete financial information" during the time Roman Abramovich was the club's owner.

A statement from European football's governing body said it related to the period 2012 to 2019.

Uefa added: "Following its assessment, including the applicable statute of limitations, the CFCB (Club Financial Control Body) First Chamber entered into a settlement agreement with the club, which has agreed to pay a financial contribution of 10m euros to fully resolve the reported matters."

Obviously you guys are all comparing this issue to your own ongoing one.

One big difference between us is that our new owners noticed incomplete financial information in historic accounts and reported it immediately to UEFA.

City's stance is, as I understand it, that they've done nothing wrong whatsoever.

Maybe admittance or denial of guilt has a bearing on how a club is treated, just as it does in the English legal system where admittance of guilt generally encourages a more lenient sentence?
Oh, do fuck off! The big difference is we are being treated differently to other clubs.

Scanning a few LFC, AFC, THFC and MUFC forums, there is very little being said about this FFP breach. Where there is reference to it, the responses are almost all mild. Same with the newspapers and journalists on Twitter.

A very different reaction to when City failed FFP. I wonder why....? <strokes chin>

I am blocked from viewing his account but I am guessing the Leader of the Gingers Against Brown People (incorporating the Anti Islamic Redheads) has managed to make it all about City.

When did they admit it because earlier in the year Todd Boehly stated that the club would comply with FFP?

Sounds like BS from both UEFA and the club to me. An ECA-friendly deal.

They notified UEFA about it when it was discovered, which was during the sales process. UEFA just took this long to decide on it and the matter is now resolved.

Now let's just imagine if this had been City. It just might have been headline news.

I'm sorry if you or anyone else felt that my post implied that I think City are guilty of UEFA's or the Prem's allegations. That was not my intention.

As I've said here already, I have no idea as I don't know enough about it.

Wouldnt it be easier if ffp was stopped and owners were allowed to invest want they want into their company ?. Football worked fine before ffp so the only point of ffp is to stop fair play and keep the status quo.
Wait till Wrexham get near the premier league, press/media think it's a great story two Hollywood stars invest in the club for now but the closer they get to the premier the red top press/media turn on them

I can not think of one other line of business were your rivals stop you from investing. If that was the case we would still have Woolworths, land of leather etc etc.

It's amazing isn't it..

The Chelsea fans on here, coming on to tell us all how squeaky clean their club is after they have been found guilty and fined for breaking FFP.

£Billions of loans just written off and then the new American owner goes crazy, throwing money at anyone with a pair of football boots on..

The fkin media turning a blind eye whilst continuing to sharpen their knives to stick into us..

No fkin witch hunt for the chavs or rags to be seen, heard or read about anywhere..

For the record, we have not admitted to any wrongdoing because we are adamant that we haven't broken any rules.

The PL have to prove their allegations against us, let's see how that pans out..

Meanwhile, both Chelsea and the rags have been found guilty of failing FFP..

The fkin brass neck of these clubs supporters preaching to us about how there's nothing to see in their own backyard whilst presuming our guilt day after day..

In a nutshell and just to be clear here, to date, we have not been found guilty of any wrongdoing whereby both Chelsea and the rags have been outed as fkin cheats..

So thats Chelsea, Rags and the Dippers who have all failed FFP, and UEFA gave out token fines ( bar the Dippers as they failed to qualify for Europe when they failed) compared to the fine, reduced squad numbers we received.
And the media reporting on it or lack of it, compared to ours is laughable.
