What a mess of a club, thought they were moving the right way after trimming the squad but they've doubled down and are buying any and everyone

Caceido AND Lavia are close, so what...they gonna line up as a 3 with Enzo? That's horribly unbalanced. So Lavia is back-up? Now what about the other two U21 DM they bought Santos and Ugochukwu...how do they fit in (not to mention Connor Gallagher who's surely off)

They buy Olise, who's going to be competing with Sterling, Madueke and Ziyech (who must be off)

It's fun...but it's a mess

We had the option to do a Viv Nicholson (FOC alert) but irrelevant of all the charges against us didn't and stayed I believe inside the rules but have made it to the very top.

On a side note I saw a graffic last night on Sky after our new defender came on showing we'd spent something like £80m on the defence on the pitch more than Burnley had ever spent on all players. A truly disgraceful bit of snide by SKY when all they do is get giddy over the spending of a few other teams.

I was about to comment on them seemingly grabbing both lavia and caicedo , but then I checked their squad list. How on earth have they brought in so many players, have spent so much, and have a central midfield of basically just Enzo on the opening premier league weekend? Proves there is not a strategy.

I swear that Boehly is Yosemite Sam, shooting off cash in every direction buying up every player to ever play the game. Google has them with 41 official first team players currently. What they going to do at Luton away, stuff the non playing staff in the burger stand in the corner?

If they do well this season it will be down to a tight defence and Nkunku having a good one. Feel they could be still as low as 6th though.

I think they have identified about ten who will be sold. Even so, still far too many on the books. They run the risk of having to pay players who will not be eligible for PL.

It's ramshackle, no doubting it. But the Prem have been saying they have been looking into the clubs financial affairs for as far back as I can remember, but still the farce that is Chelsea FC continues to this day. But it appears it is not the Americans who are fucking every thing up, no: I've heard it is some club that has connections to the oil trade.

I like Chelsea
Best man at my wedding Chelsea fan
Plus they threw in a big fuck off spanner in United’s & Arsenals comfy existence
This.

I remember a Talkshite radio rant by Johnny Vaughan a few years ago talking about us and how the redshirts can't stand the fact that two teams in blue ruined their cozy arrangement. At the time I thought he was gonna be sacked for it.

They are just about to through £1bn in transfers alone in the last 3 transfer windows?!
And the funny thing is, on paper, is it just me who thinks they haven’t improved as much as the spend justifies? A lot of those players they bought may eventually be good (or good for other teams when they’re sold because they aren’t getting enough playing time) but out of all their player acquisitions only Enzo would get regular playing time at ours. Weird club
