Signed another player on a 7 year contract. Thought that was banned now or is the deadline imminent?

Dont think its banned in the premier! so for premier ffp it will help, Uefa though it will be amortised over 5 years under there ffp!

Yes all confusing.....

I think of myself as pretty in tune with European football but they've signed about a half dozen players within the last 12 months for at least 25mil that I have never heard of. They've gotten rid of a lot of dead wood but they must be assigning players triple-digit shirt numbers.

I don’t think I could name about half the Chelsea squad now, genuinely can’t keep up.

Just watched the Chelsea v Dortmund highlights out of boredom and it is becoming painfully obvious to all observers how much Pep made Sterling’s career.

Also, it’s only a friendly (though, I have watched him a few times otherwise) but I am not sure that I see what others have been going on about when it comes to Colwill.

Looks exceedingly raw to me.

American tour oddity: they finished regular time 1-1 and there was meant to be a penalty shootout but at the last moment some authority just decided not to have it. No doubt Todd Boehly deciding it’s a bad way to end a match and saying we’ll just declare Chelsea the winners.

Yeah, definitely excited. As @mrbelfry said, it's going to be fascinating to see how we get on.

I am of course aware that there will almost certainly be some problems.

However, for me personally I just want to see some progression, unity and enjoyment in the players.

Too often last season we had to see glum 'I don't really want to be here' faces. I'm thinking of you, Mount and Havertz.
Who do you think will score more - Jackson or nkuku?
Going to put one of them in my fantasy team alongside haaland and alvarez (who is a bit if a wildcard pick because he might not play all that often).

They're both looking good, but for it's got to be Jackson.

Nkunku took a knock vs Dortmund, and we're waiting to see whether it's a problem, as he did previously suffer a knee injury.

Jackson plays with no fear like he's down the park. That would be my pick.
