Decent start to the season. Followed the opening day loss to City with 3 wins in 4 games.
Jackson is looking fantastic, as I've always said. Caicedo is looking brilliant, even Cucurella is looking pretty decent this season.
I wasn't sure about Maresca, and he's yet to win me over completely, but this probably as good a start as I could have hoped for.
They are playing nice football. At some point it will click into place. The Chelsea squad looks good to me. Could make top four I think.Decent start to the season. Followed the opening day loss to City with 3 wins in 4 games.

The thing about Maresca is that he has a clear plan and his teams have an identity. That along with the players you have should certainly make top 6 likely, with CL a possibility.
Jackson's all round game last season was excellent, it's just that his finishing was dreadful. He did well v West Ham but he's not going to all of a sudden behaviour a great finisher - I expect he'll have good runs of form though. Doesn't matter too much though as long as the team is doing well, because he clearly contributes to that.
Our result against you is looking better week by week!

Maresca sorted out immediately which players he wanted in the squad and told the club to junk the rest. First sensible decision on that front.
when do you next play what would be classed as a decent team?I like that he's been quite strong and forthright in his thoughts and what he wants.
I also like that he seemingly learns from his mistakes, and he seemingly adjust his gameplan, often mid game. Leicester fans sold me this idea of Maresca who was infuriatingly stubborn, married to his ideology come rain or shine. But the Maresca I've seen at Chelsea has been a manager that, yes has his ideas and principles but is willing to change and adjust his tactics based on the problems that present themselves during games.
It's still early in the season, so it's not the time to get too hyped up, but so far encouraging signs.
