Sly one, this. Especially after they’ve already cancelled the Jackson move to Bayern.

Shame for Sunderland but I think they’ve already replaced him.

Don't think its sly, they'll either be an agreed break clause in the agreement which will compensate Sunderland or they've offered Sunderland money to send him back. They can't just demand him back without Sunderlands cooperation.

Yeah. Just seen Sunderland have 'agreed' to it - as you said, likely a healthy payment.

Just a shame because I doubt he'll get minutes at Chelsea but would be good for Sunderland. As proved at the weekend.

He will provide cover for now, and likely be sent on loan again. It's kind of brutal for Guiu though, as Chelsea's needs now take precedent over his development. I do prefer this solution though, to signing a new striker (rumoured linked with the Sporting striker) or forcing Jackson back against his will.

Many laughed at Chelsea valuing Jackson at around £80m and mocked it at the time. They've just got over £70m for him so they wasnt far off in the end.

Boehly can get value for most of his shit players. not for some like Sterling, Chilwell, Mudryk but buying JAckson for 30m and selling him for 70m.

their net spend even positive this window wow.

Anyone would thinks its suspicious but thats another bit of fantastic business from Chelsea selling a shite striker for that much.

I reckon they would value me at about 8 million.

Seriously.
This lad is Sunday league level.
Hes been sold for 70 million quid.
Imagine how much money he gets paid
What has he ever done in the game.
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
The world's nuts.
The games gone

Sunday league level is mad.

He's averaging about 15 league goals in the prem per season and that's without taking a single penalty. This Woltemade bloke from Stuttgart just went for £70m on the back of 6 months of decent form in the German league.

10 goals last season, 14 the season before. In what world is that £70m? Maybe they've seen something the rest of us haven't. But honestly, in the world of PSR and dodgy accounting, I'm becoming more and more suspicious of teams' ability to get massive money for bit part players. It wouldn't surprise me if Chelsea paid massively over the odds for a Bayern player next summer too.

Also what is with these 'loan with an obligation to buy' deals? I get it it the obligation to buy involves the player meeting certain conditions, but when it's just a straight obligation to buy, why are they not just buying him now?
