They can't not do when contact is shown. EVen Uefa had to back down to Arsenal a few years ago when they banned one of their players and Arsenal proved contact and the ban was overturned.

-- Sun Oct 28, 2012 7:41 pm --

cleavers said:I don't think it will be.SWP's back said:He was caught though so didn't dive by the letter of the law and the red (or 1 game ban) will be rescinded.
The card can't be but the ban can.citytill1die84 said:SWP's back said:He was caught though so didn't dive by the letter of the law and the red (or 1 game ban) will be rescinded.cleavers said:So, if he'd done that against Vinny, and got Vinny a card you'd think he was right ? Would you f*ck, he dived, he had no need to go down, he knew he'd been booked, he let his team mates down.
Like Young, Rooney, Suarez and many others Torres is a diver, I know referees are inconsistent with punishments for this, but only one thing will stop it, cards every time.
In some ways I'm proud of our own players, who by and large don't do it, Tevez yesterday could have had 2 penalties, and Mario should have had 1, but they didn't go down, Silva never does, but we never benefit from staying up, so I'm delighted when the cheats get caught, sorry for that.
Don't think yellow cards can be changed.
