It wasn't a second yellow card offence.
So, if he'd done that against Vinny, and got Vinny a card you'd think he was right ? Would you f*ck, he dived, he had no need to go down, he knew he'd been booked, he let his team mates down.

Like Young, Rooney, Suarez and many others Torres is a diver, I know referees are inconsistent with punishments for this, but only one thing will stop it, cards every time.

In some ways I'm proud of our own players, who by and large don't do it, Tevez yesterday could have had 2 penalties, and Mario should have had 1, but they didn't go down, Silva never does, but we never benefit from staying up, so I'm delighted when the cheats get caught, sorry for that.

I agree diving should be stamped out, but Sterling blatenly dived whilst on a yellow, Gerrard milled over to sort it and Mariner bottled it only an hour or so earlier. Then later in the game he was barely touched (very much like Torres) and it was deemed ok as he was entitled to go down because of the faint touch. Nothing was said that Evans led with both feet, and that Torres was within his rights to jump out of the way of 2 sets of studs. There is zero consistancy and whilst i am very much of the opinion there is no agenda, the Rags do seem to get the benefit from any inconsistancy on a very consistant basis.

That apart, it wasnt just the 2 reds, the offside goal, Battenburg got so many decisions wrong today, it was laughable.
I agree with you, but were debating the inconsistency now between referees and games, which I'm sure f*ks you off the same as it does me.

Rags getting the benefit of decisions is nothing new, nor is Clattenburg being a bent tw@t, but Torres didn't need to go down, and for me has let his team mates and fans down.

I think questions need to be asked of the F.A. Why was Clattenberg not allowed to ref a scum game since he sent of Evans? Don't they have some type of rotation policy. Obviously the F.A are bowing down to pressure from somewhere (that **** that sits on the board might be a good place to start), and surely that a form of corruption.

Very Good Point.

The answer is simple. Clear out all conflicts of interest, use the fourth official with a hotline to the referee on the pitch with all technology and rotate referees.

Also discipline managers for trying to influence referees properly like removing their license for a period.

When do you ever see a controversial decision awarded against the Rags ? The last one occurred in the 1958 FA Cup final. And that little shit was offside.....................

The Blues finished with nine men and were beaten by an offside winner as United made up for all the bad luck they perceived they had suffered at Stamford Bridge in one fell swoop to cut their opponents' lead at the top to one point.

What a bloody bastards that paper are

they seem to forget last years 2 gifted penalties :).

good result for us that, we have hardly started yet we are right there within a couple of points. this game showed how weak utd are defending, we can and will exploit that again. luiz is a liability for chelsea, he loses it bigtime when the pressure is on.nothing to fear.

Calm the fuck down, he's clearly a Chelsea hater.
And I hate him. Whether he's a spud being a spud or he's an Arsenal twit, he's still a twit and I hate him.

Have a drink fella, if you hate people who post on a football forum your life is pretty empty.
I have had many drinks today. I shall have several more. :)

Re: Clattenburg is unbelievably rubbish

Howard Webb must seriously be worried for his Utd place now. Battenberg always rubbish but today proved beyond doubt he wants to be allowed to ref Utd again. Corrupt scumbag.
