Chelsea. What's gone wrong for them?

Plus never introduced youngsters through all the winning years
Our bench vs their bench 2 weeks ago.

53 Szczesny, 18 Squillaci, 02 Diaby, 07 Rosicky, 23 Arshavin, 29 Chamakh, 52 Bendtner

Turnbull, 17 Bosingwa, 38 Van Aanholt, 43 Bruma, 07 Ramires, 46 McEachran, 44 Kakuta

Im sure they have one or two injuries, as did we with the likes of vermaelen and gibbs not making the squad. their squad is the weakest by some distance in the top 5

Quality bench that for the gunners. Wenger should of stuck Chamakh on against us.

It's very early days, yet.

its not very early days. the season is half way through.the problems they have are a a small squad unable to cope with injury to key players or loss of form.the owners decision to dispense with experienced, quality squad players at the start of the season can now be looked upon as the most foolhardy decision in top class football in recent times.
Anyone wishing to see whats gone wrong has only to look at the chelski bench during any premiership game. no quality back up.very soon the manager will be gone and then they have a real uphill struggle to achieve anything this year.

Whatever the reasons are (and there a few tbf) I bet Ray Wilkins can't stop smiling at the moment!

I think someone has pointed it out before on here but never has a man's reputation been so enhanced by doing absolutely nothing.

It is strange isnt it. Next thing we'll here the genius is being ear marked to take over from Baconface.

Injuries at first sapped morale and led to a few defeats. From their confidence drained further and they just can't get their smooth passing game together.

They don't have the depth in squad to cover for injured playrs, or players short of form.

The opposition can see the weakness and put a real fight against them - unlike teams who go to Old Trafford who don't believe they can win. the aura has gone

They can recover, but they need to do so very quickly otherwise the title is gone. Don't rule them out though as they can win 10 on the trot

Me thinks there might be a bit of unrest behind the scenes as with the bindippers. Tends to have a flow on effect down to the players. Once morale goes it's very hard to turn it around.

Gareth Barry when he wasn't playing because he was injured during the World Cup
