Friendless because of the comments not on the form its shown in the last 2 Cheltenhams, it loves the place and good ground. As you say its a machine, the only reason it was evens was all the comments made. The fact it didnt look like it had run suggests it was slightly better than the connections were making out or at least performed better than they thought it would. Road to Riches is a very good horse, if Vautour was only 90% it wouldnt have won.

I get what you are saying about the buzz, but for him the buzz is going to be increased by how much at 2-1 instead of evens ?

McManus does but he was gambling long before he was loaded and like somebody else said he is a pro, these guys get their own prices anyways with a private bookmaker, who did he used to battle at Cheltenham, think the bookie is dead now but they featured it every year, with JP laying down big money.

He said it more than once, said it when it was moved and again on the morning line this morning and had a little dig at Mullins after the race with, 'they place the horses.' Mullins had been telling everyone Vautour would get the GC trip all winter, then pulled him out last minute. Didnt effect me, but a lot of antepost betters were very upset by it.

I am led to believe he does, but I am not 100% on that.

At the end, I'm not bothered as I backed Vautour at 2.12 and stacked it all on Thistlecrack so happy days for me. Thanks for the comments Ricci as you got me more back ;-)

Yes. About 25 quid up so far on about 50 quid staked. Limini will put me about 75 quid up.
