Was it Cheltenham Blues that changed the name of their ground to The Johnny Rocks stadium as a tribute to our very own Johnny Rocks at CB?

Have any of City's players ever experienced one of these? Maybe as kids, probably not as professionals.

FOCs on here might recall Derby's Baseball Ground. Did anyone go to Southend in 1he Cup in 1956 with its pitch of mud & sand & shells? ? Then there was the Tooting & Mitcham v Notts Forest Cup tie in - long time ago.

Don't forget Halifax. That was a mud bath

The tide was definately out when I last went to the Baseball ground and there was a small patch of green near our corner flag. Big Joe marked out the penalty spot IIRC.

And got booked for it even though he was right
