Then the original recipe I gave you is perfect if you can be arsed. It's Lily Kwok's recipe and is spot on what you're looking for, follow every step to the letter, including the flours and you'll get an excellent result. Obviously I'm not in GDM's class as a culinary expert but.....

There's no Chinese chippies out here, they don't even fry fresh chips it's all frozen shite. The few 'English' chippies charge a fortune just for fresh chips.

Remember any mix you get add some peas, best chinese curry sauce has a few peas in it, is it peas or raisin type things ? fuck been years since i had it tbh.
