Chinese Consortium invests $400m in CFG

Was just being honest pal.
Your response sounded like it came from a rival fan jealous of us.
Wasn't expecting your post and it sounded like you was trying to cause a reaction and it did from me.

Fair enough... But forums, are about differing opinions. Not everyone who disagrees with yours is a Rag... Blood 'ell, if I thought that, then everybody on here who somehow doesn't rate Kolarov would be a Rag!............... Actually, must of them probably are! :o)

I'm surprised that Barca84 can show his face on any City related thread when 2 blues completely and utterly destroyed him some months back after he tried to take the moral high ground regarding our owner and human rights, only to be exposed as a blatant hypocrite by one of those blues who rifled through his post history and found a comment relating to a rumoured Qatari takeover of United which he (Barca84) was largely supportive of! I've never seen someone disappear from a thread so quickly but I've noticed he's started to sneak back on the City threads of late spouting his usual nonsensical bullshit. This is someone who never fails to miss an opportunity to rant about empty seats yet told everyone on there last week that as long as van Gaal remains manager he isn't going to be attending any United matches. The **** should be on stage.

Anyway, talking of moral high ground this comment made me laugh - the only surprise is that it wasn't posted by Barca84:

What would bother me far, far more than that if I were a City fan is that the royal family are able to pump 1bn into a football club in Northern England, but not spare a penny to take in a single Syrian or Yemeni refugee. But Mansour's a classy guy right?
**puts head in hands**
Fuck me......please tell me he was joking?
Jesus wept.

I know mate, my rag radar is too sensitive these days. I need to turn it down a few notches.

Even more reason to take the piss

Always remember Dave

Yes... the investment is massive news, for the CFG, which in turn will no doubt have a positive effect on City... but to be honest I will never support or follow any part of the CFG other than City! And, I hate this 'only the League Cup' mentality! There are 4 trophies to play for each season... sometimes possibly only 3! To me and most true / match-going blues that I know, The League Cup is just as important as the rest. The day it isn't seen as such, is the day we become no better that Arsenal and Rag fans!

Hey I'm arsed about the game mate I'm looking forward to going tonight, but this is big news hot off the press. Attention turning to this is understandable and doesn't mean people are more interested in the business than the football. It's an unfair comparison - try comparing a minor sponsorship deal with a derby game or other big game and see what the big talking point is then. This is big

Cuntanoid has spoken:

Why doesn't Mansour pay a load of people money to support City forever, fill their stadium and buy all their stuff perpetually? He could stop the existing ones going back to Chelsea or PSG and recruit a load more and it would look far less obvious than this skullduggery.

Might be slightly off-topic, but the number of posts in this thread compared to the number of posts in TODAY'S match thread, seems to demonstrate that more of our fan's (and modern fans in general) are interested in the business of football, than actual football itself! Sad Times! CTID
The impact of this on the club and Manchester in general can not be overstated, there's not a hope that anyone on here can even envisage the possibilities that have opened up. And it's not like they've even finished yet.
