Yeah, there was an interesting article about this. The journalist asked some girl why her banner was identical to everyone else's after she claimed to have made it herself. She suggested they must have had them printed at the same place. And then there were a large number who claimed their "group leader" weren't allowed to talk to the media. Laughable really, but no doubt they'll lap it up on Chinese state TV.

Why would we give a shit what some Chinese dictator claims to support, but probably never watches or spends money on? I'd rather not end up like the rags parading their endless supply of celebrity "fans."

I meant he would be impressed by what he sees when visiting the place ffs,I mean he will probably never come to England ever again, never mind Manchester

This is fantastic for our profile, not only to have the Chinese PM here but Cameron as well. We have come a long way since Swales etc.

France has got the right idea. 90% of its energy is low carbon and they don't have thousands of wind turbines littering the countryside.
No they're just storing up thousands and thousands of years of toxic waste for future generations, or the prospect of terrorist blowing up there nuclear power stations just for a laugh. But hey lets not split hairs wouldn't want to upset the NIMBY's having a few more wind turbines.
