Chinese Takeaway

There appears to be a groundswell of love for crispy chilli chicken - I'm in!

Mind you, you simply have to have the sauce on the side and drizzle sparingly over the fried rice and chicken when the match of the day theme tune starts...

Last 2 or 3 Chinese takeaways I've tried have generally disappointed but prefer Thai and Indian food by some distance.

I have rarely enjoyed a Chinese takeaway. The food is generally so bland. Like you, I would much rather have Indian or Thai. At least they add some herbs and spices to the dishes.
Exactly. Kung po can be nice if you go to the right place, but Thai food has so much more to it. The Thai stuff you get from Chinese takeaways is laughable sadly.

I find Thai food too oily. Actual Chinese food for Chinese people is really very good but the white people version we get is greasier than a rags fan.

I shouldn't have read this thread. Now I want Singapore noodles and cantonese steak. :-(

Seriously addicted to Singapore Fried Rice......
