Chris Bailey article (The voice of reason)

Makes me laugh... WTF does Chris Bailey know!

10 games in next year when its clear, keeping Hughes has been a mistake, he will be writing a piece saying that he "has to go after wasting millions".

Journ's should stick to what they do best....making things up!

If all City fans have that attitude then it's bound to happen.

Mark Hughes has the best record of any City manager in the premier league. Check the facts.

Ericksson 55 from 38 matches - 1.44 points per match
Hughes 47 from 37 matches - 1.27 points per match

How Hughes has the best record is beyond me.

They're moe bothered about being proven right than actualy seeing some success. That is just pathetic and sad and you don't deserve to be called a City fan.

Absolute bollocks.

The very fact that so many journo's & pundits (eg, the degenerate crackhead) think it's a good thing that Hughes has been given longer is, for me, a bloody good reason for thinking it's a bad idea :-)

Win ratio 44% for Hughes. I think winning is the most important stat to look at.

So the league table is decided on wins now and not points! There's so many things I thought I knew about football but apparently I've been wrong all along. :-S

I would rather make my own mind up on Hughes. not impressed with being told being out of europe is a blessing, actually it pisses me off. not impressed with buying a striker everyone new would would play only a few games before breaking down and being constantly injured, not impressed with the thought of buying yet another injury prone striker in RSC who we know will only play a handful of games before breaking down and injured for most of the season. we alll know he will piss away 18m on him and what a waste. poor fucking judgement

oh and im sick of hearing how fucking undervalued he thinks he is. oh and all the added pressure on him, now hes being told top 6 on a budget next season by the owners.....priceless.

been away for 2 weeks so theres my bit on it !

Erciksson - 38 matches, 15 wins
Hughes - 37 matches, 14 wins.

Even when you're desperate to find a stat to back up you're claim it's a bit tougher than you would think.

For God sake he's staying get over it and wait and see who he signs over the Summer.By the way though all you happy people who think Hughes is clueless, will you be happy if we finish in the top six or will you spend all next May saying a decent manager would have finished in the top four?
