Carlisle United have confirmed that Paul Thirlwell and James Berrett have been offered new deals, along with youth players Patrick Brough and Kyle Dempsey. Pascal Chimbonda is among those to be released, along with Chris Chantler, Danny Livesey, Prince Buaben, Liam Noble, Lee Miller, Mike Edwards, Greg Fleming, Jack Lynch, Lewis Guy and Nacho Novo, while Danny Cadamarteri has retired under surgeon’s advice following a knee injury sustained at the end of last season.
