Chris Chantler...shortest debut of all time?

Chris is fine... I just get annoyed sometimes when I see some things but thanks to the people who said nice things. He's recovering and will hopefully be playing again pretty soon

He's no Sam Williamson. Hope he makes it.

What happened to this guy? Is he still playing non-league?

From his Wikipedia page:

In November 2008, Williamson joined Conference National side Wrexham on loan, making his debut on 29 November in a 2-1 win over Stevenage Borough. On 31 December it was reported that Williamson had agreed to make the move permanent when the January transfer window opens.[6] On 1 January Williamson joined the Red Dragons on a 18-month contract after moving from Eastlands on a free transfer.[7] In March 2010, Williamson joined Conference North side Fleetwood Town on loan until the end of the 2009–10 season.[8] On his return to Wrexham, he was released.

Been released.

Carlisle United have confirmed that Paul Thirlwell and James Berrett have been offered new deals, along with youth players Patrick Brough and Kyle Dempsey. Pascal Chimbonda is among those to be released, along with Chris Chantler, Danny Livesey, Prince Buaben, Liam Noble, Lee Miller, Mike Edwards, Greg Fleming, Jack Lynch, Lewis Guy and Nacho Novo, while Danny Cadamarteri has retired under surgeon’s advice following a knee injury sustained at the end of last season.

well they went down so maybe they can't afford to keep them all on, some fairly big names in there.

A disgraceful decision, granted he has struggled with injuries and looked on the way out when he got injured again around xmas with a supposedly long term injury but he made a quick recovery and has been one of the better performing players in a shit team, my son is a season ticket holder at Carlisle btw

Can only think that he must be on a decent wage as it is certainly nothing to do with his football ability imo.
