On the news tonight about the Northern Powerhouse rail upgrades - trotted out his usual about new carriages and upgrades and when asked about Norther Fails efforts effectivly said its his job to sort it out which is why he has instigated a full investigation............doing the square root of Jack shit in reality whilst the commuters suffer the consequences.

Best plan is to have a go at the drivers, the guards and the unions as the reason for train timetable cock-ups because the alternative is too awful to contemplate, especially if you’re locked into an ideology that says privatisation good, public ownership bad.This is the best he can come up with - fiddle the books !!
