It'll get him in front of a panel facing charges. They're not allowed to be honest.
It will, that's the downside unfortunately, then a fine which pretty much sums up what it's all about

The game has been gone for a good few years. We’re hardly representing good just look at how our original fans have been driven away, the prices in the ground and the general theme park feel. We’re just a different side of the war. Glad if we can beat the red twats and PL to keep winning trophies but the games a disgrace at this level and always will be.
But that is what happens. Its a well kknown thing isnt it, home advantage, that utd get more pens at theirs, thaat lfc have been proven to get more VAR decisions. And yeah I sort of understand the mechanics of what he is saying in a world where billions are at stake and tribaalism makes a big big part of it (From fans / pundits/ broadcasters / everyone involved including refs who (whilst utd are getting dodgy decisions) their head is being invited to OT with complimentary meals etc... Its just the way of the world. The PL are giving sweeteners to the police, yeah right, its just a gift. Surely we have all lived enough of it to see that sort of stuff happens?I'm lost for words really, sounds like a bitter pissed of fan.
"I was told about this coming into the division, that 'get ready, all the slight decisions, all the easy decisions, will go against you." Told by who?
Chris Wilder: Sheffield United manager criticises perceived bias from officials
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder says he has to speak up on behalf of the club about perceived bias against the Blades from match officials.www.bbc.co.ukChris Wilder criticises perceived bias in refereeing
Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has been critical of the recent refereeing decisions that have gone against his side.www.skysports.com
Where does he say that it was a referee that said it to him?His whinging might have a bit more clout if it had come on the back of a controversial game against City, Liverpool or Arsenal.
But does he really think the powers that be have some big agenda to do Sheffield United down in favour of that huge establishment team, Crystal Palace?
I also don’t believe for a second that a current Premier League referee would say that to him.
Although I’m not certain whether he’s claiming the mystery man is still refereeing at the top level to be fair. I wouldn’t put it past some bitter old timer like Hackett to try and stir the pot.

And Sheff utd do not have a voice as big as utd, they are an easier target for an easier life. What would any ref want for example, 100 angry Sheff utd fans tweeting him or 10,000 manu fans and their pundits calling them out.. Seems natural to me, I think wilder is right. I dont think it is cheating though. I live and learn though really do.
He’s just trying to get the next decision in their favour. It’s no different to players surrounding the referee in game to try and influence the next subjective call.His whinging might have a bit more clout if it had come on the back of a controversial game against City, Liverpool or Arsenal.

Whatever he is referring to he will be hard pushed to get Scousers to believe him, It's them it's against.What do we think Pep is referring to when he states 'we have to win it for ourselves ' or similar?
You are right I mis-read the bit about eating at half time;
'One of his assistants was eating a sandwich at the time, which I thought was a complete lack of respect. Hopefully he enjoyed his sandwich while he was talking to a Premier League manager."'
Either way, for someone that has been exercising in a professional capacity it doesn't seem out of order that they are re-fuelling (granted no idea the setting or timing of their interaction)........
