Christian Eriksen

He wants to stay at Ajax where he is guarenteed a first team start every week, if he came to City he would not start many games yet, perhaps in a couple of years.

Great attacking midfielder but does he track back?

Rough diamond?

Creative but wasteful if you ask me.

Defininately no stand in for Silva, or Yaya or Barry or Milner im afraid.

One for the future though.

30m?

He will, no doubt, be a world superstar.

£25-30 million is a good price. We could maybe sign him next summer but loan him back to Ajax for a year? This way he plays every week, yet is still ours.

After that, in two years time, he'll be ready for the first team. If not, maybe a year on loan in the Premiership.

New Awesome vid

You bluemooners tend to over-rate Cleverly a bit imo

As for Eriksen to Madrid, don't see it happening with Ozil Kaka Granero and Callejon at a stretch there competing for his positions pace...

Based on your comment mate, I'd say Spur fans have a hard time spotting irony. ;)
Abundance never seemed to be a problem for Madrid in the past.

I was joking pal :)

True about Madrid, but I would much rather see him coming to the Premier league

Not a convincing recovery.........who do you think your new manager will be mate ?

I don't understand this lad. Says he wouldn't come to City due to lack of playing time, then professes admiration for Barca.

Okay, Barca are terrific but as a young foreigner who will he beat out?

Xavi? Iniesta? Cesc? Certainly not.

Not Thiago, he's their darling. Sanchez and Pedro will be effectively splitting time with him.

So he's effectively behind 4 other players in the pecking order and at best equal to 2.

At City he's only behind Silva automatically.

Classic Iniesta/Silva/Sneijder type player, magic in the box. Hope he lives up to his potential.

Anyone who has watched him more than a few times know if he has the ability to drop deeper and control a midfield like Xavi/Modric/Alonso etc or does he operate exclusively as a number 10?

Since johan cruyff joined ajax board this summer, ajax has changed formation to 4-3-3 like barca. he plays more deeper exactly like Xavi/Iniesta. He can play everywhere really both wings forward AM. But his favorite position is the 10 position/free role.

I think what he lacks in defensive qualities is due to a lack of maturity, and time will take care of that under the right guidance.
