I knew that the band had an" interesting" social life Looking at her, though, she'd never strike you as someone who would have a drug habit. She just looked so sensible. Like someone's favourite aunt. Only, your favourite aunt couldn't sing the way Christine McVie could.






And Rumours is one of the finest collection of songs committed to vinyl, cassette, CD and any other format you can think of.

Im a big fan of Fleetwood Mac. Of all of them I thought she would be the longest lasting. They did cane it back in the day bur retirement heals and she didnt seem to do much in recent times. Health issues suck

I remember her joining the original band in about 1970, mainly as a keyboard player.
She developed into a soulful singer, song writer, keyboard player and inspiration for Rumours. My favourite song of hers is Little Lies, a real rocker.
RIP Christine, perfect.

A bit upsetting to hear her voice now she's gone, but this is one of my favourites, the song is about her re-joining Fleetwood Mac in 2014 ...

I absolutely loved her voice and song writing skills. Preferred her vocals to Stevie Nicks. Gutted when I heard last night. Gave me a (sad) excuse to crank this beauty up, nice and loud though.

Same here. Nicks is a great singer, but her voice has a sort of "nasal" quality about it. McVie is definitely the nicer voice.
