Christmas dinner preparations

I thought he was veggie so how come he knows its good ?

Ive been vegetarian for four years. I had a nibble the rest of the time. I can cook meat. My Bolognese is a thing to dream of, my stew is probably from another dimension, diverted into my brain by super race of brainboxes and natty chefs. My various marinated roast chickens to literally sell your grandkids for. But, although I still cook these wonders of artistry, passion and flavour for the family, I desist. I made a decision and that's fucking that.
 
I've prepped individual balloutine of chicken breasts, stuffed with a fig and balsamic chutney, wrapped in pancetta.

Steeped chantennay carrots in fresh orange juice, butter and rosemary, cooked halfway and be roasted down tomorrow.

Roasties par-boiled and coated with semolina flour.

Gravy all done, a full mirepoix with chicken legs and passed through.

Pigs in blankets, I won't have much left to do on the day.

Happy days.
