Christopher Brahney's body found in Salford

Re: Please read: Missing person

Hi all,

Sorry should have posted this the other day.
I work at Lancashire Cricket Club and do the scoring for the Replay Screen which also shows messages, ad's etc.

I asked the club this week whether we could put up a slide on the screen about Chris and a picture. The request was approved and it would have been shown last night for the Yorkshire t20 game. Unfortunately the game was abandoned so the scrreen was never turned on.

However England play Australia at OT on Tuesday so I have requested this to be put up then. We are also getting some leaflets distributed as people come into the ground.

I've put this on the the facebook page for Chris, my name is Matt Slater so rest assured we will do everything on Tuesday to get it to peoples attention.

Re: Please read: Missing person

I live around the corner from Heaton Park, in the past few days I keep seeing plenty of police around the place.
Can't help fearing the worst for this poor lad!
I read on here about the mobile he lost maybe being in Edingurgh, one can only assume somebody from up that way found it at the gig and have sold it??
I pray to god they find him, if that was my child I don't think I could cope!

Re: Please read: Missing person

There were so many people knocking about. Someone must know something! Really hope he is found safe.

Re: Please read: Missing person

If anyone wants to take part in a search party please see below. My friend and I (plus my dog) will be going along.

"Jenny Onslow, the landlady of the Ostrich pub, has kindly offered to use the pub as a base to organise searches from. She is in the process of developing a large map collating locations already searched across Manchester. There will be free tea/coffee, toilets and so on..

The pub is open all day (until 1AM I believe) so feel free to pop by in your own group at any time but she is hoping to organise a group for:
- 12 NOON

You can find the pub at the postcode M25 1JF (full address: 163 BURY OLD ROAD, PRESTWICH, MANCHESTER.)

@Jenny and all searchers: Thank you for your hospitality and efforts."

There was a 78 year old man found hanging from a tree in HP on Thursday. That might explain some of the police presence.

Re: Please read: Missing person

There are so many good people in Manchester and surrounding areas getting involved in this search (also the likes of BlueMatt above at LCC).

Seeing this lads dad on the search made me feel sick for the poor guy.

You have to fear the worst but I hope to god there is some kind of miracle and he turns up.

The lad lost his phone before he was split from his mates anyway so I don't think the location of the phone will solve anything unfortunately. Hope the lad turns up safe, worried sick.
