If everyone ate healthy they'd be healthy. That would mean no more toothless fat sweaty salad dodgers on the Jeremy Kyle show to view in disdain.
The sugar tax is not done out of concern for people as a main priority. It’s done to reduce the costs to the health service as more people become fat diabetic cunts who cost a fortune to treat because they are greedy fat cunts.
It’s also true that poorer families tend to be less likely to cook nutritious meals and rely on processed shite. The argument that you can’t cook or eat healthily on a lower budget is false.
If people don’t give a fuck about what they feed their kids and allow them to become sick, then intervention is required to reduce the cost of that by making it more expensive.
The NHS cannot afford to spend the massive amounts on this issue, which is set to increase exponentially. People have the right to eat what they want but the country cannot afford to pick up the tab. Days lost due to illness caused by being a porker is incredible.
Would it be better not to have to impose taxes? Yes it would, but if people insist on saying fucknyou then expect medical help because they hate a nanny state, then fuck them.
Funny how they don’t complain that the country provides health care wether they want it or not.
People need told that this tax helps fund their treatment because they are lazy fat cunts, who poison their kids and expect everyone else tonsort it.
Zero sympathy.
Fags the same deal.
Bags the same deal. They are clogging up the oceans.
People should take responsibility and if they don’t they get taxed and told to sort themselves out.
Cunts. :)
great rant
generally agree, however to balance the taxes on any undesirable product, there should be an equalising reduction in taxation, or equivalent subsidy, to reduce the cost to consumer of healthy alternatives, only then would I be convinced that it wasn't a tax based on an excuse but a real desire to do some good.
I wait in hope.......I may be here a little while
We’ve just a 100% tax added to booze and tobacco and 50% to sugar drinks.
Coke now £1 a can
Jacko daniels is £112 for a bottle
Stella crate is £80
And fags £7 a packet
So I’ll be off to the Monaco when the wife’s contact is up.
Yeah true but a lot more than they were.£7 a packet is fairly cheap :)
It's like football sponsorship really, we don't have nasty cigs or booze as sponsors that's immoral now we've got gambling sites on shirts placards in neon and of course every bloody advert, Ray Winstone has never been so famous.
Honestly the rich love telling the poor what to do, in this case keeping us as good healthy productive workers tending to us like we're machines, I'm going to die watching porn with a cake in one hand and a big cigar in the other.
