Cinema Prices - Why Are They So Greedy?

We were laughing about this in the pub recently and an old fella quipped he hadn't seen anything at the pictures since The Jungle Book first came out.

We have just fitted out a cost a coffee in a cinema in Kent.
The manager told me for a massive bag of popcorn about 4 ft high they pay 2 quid.....
