Not from the close ups, no. It's a bit darker probably so we can have white sponsors. Personally I prefer a slightly darker shade.

Exactly. Doesn't make sense, and neither does 10 years anniversary. And putting it where it can't be seen is daft as well.

Well they’ve managed to remove any semblance of expectation I suppose - I’m just pleased it’s a shade of blue !

That neck line is awful.

Haven't bought a 'current' shirt for years, so won't personally be a problem but if you've got a very hairy chest ..could look very 'unsightly' !.If you're also sporting a bit of a beer belly it would add to the general fashion 'faux pas'.
Personally I think the target ordiance of replica football kits is pre hairy chest and beer gut age anyway (apart from if you're a player obviously!).
The retro style looks better on the older man/woman in my opinion!!
