The two are not mutually exclusive.

The ones on the hangers are real IMO, but shirts always look shit on hangers or spread out on someones' bed/floor.

This pic is a mock-up, based on that shirt and isn't exactly the same. The "real" one has a slightly lighter blue collar that is different (no pattern) to the main body material.

Has no one in Oz bought one and uploaded a pic from the changing room mirror yet?

Indeed.

Unless a man has the shoulders of a coat hanger, of course the collar is going to look huge on a hanger. Put that on some overweight 55 year old Mancunian with a gigantic double chin and man boobs and that V-neck collar will probably look too tight!
