So, Puma have gone three for three in producing over fussy kits that end up a disappointment. First the awful purple accents, then the mess that the mosaic pattern made of the shirt, now the unnecessary white panels and the pattern that looks like TV interference (one for the older fans).

I have no issue with them trying something difference with the second and third shirts - I thought the black 19/20 shirt was great (the only one I've bought in the last two seasons) and even like the yellow one (though I'm probably in the minority).I didn't like this seasons two efforts much but if they'd got the home shirt right then that wouldn't have mattered.

It's all the more frustrating as they showed with the 125 shirt that it really isn't difficult to get it right.

Please tell me their contract is up after next season.

They delivered the most traditional City kit in 15 years. If people wanted a traditional one, they should have bought the anniversary kit.

Now they're going to push the boat out and make kits that sell to kids so they recoup some of that £60m a year they're paying us.
