Always find it interesting going through these and seeing which kit makes you think of a certain player when you see it. 2013/14 for example gives me Navas, 12/13 Aguero, 09/10 Adebayor, 07/08 Petrov.we've had some god awful kits down the years:-
just wish the club would establish some basic design standards and stick to them, like always white shorts, always sky blue shirts with white trim and always sky blue socks ... easy ...
If that’s the collar yesIf this is the Kit then i like it.
The 09-10 kit is the best kit we've ever had in the modern era, and won't be surpassed -- shirt-wise. I actually very much like the hooped socks ala 11-12. A bit retro and contrast nicely with a proper shirt which I believe should be very plain with a minimum of fuss. I did love the black/red away strip that year, and the Hacienda strip last year was lovely. The gray and black striped 3rd some years ago was another I liked. Stripes are my thing on an away kit. I also like a sash.I’d say we’ve had no more than four nice home kits since the start of branding on kits in the 1970s.
The only one I have in my wardrobe is the 125 YEARS anniversary kit (which wasn’t even an official kit).
We’ve had a few more nice away kits but, again, not many at all. No more than half a dozen.
In general football kits are dreadful looking items of clothing.
Really, only Umbro have ever nailed it when it comes to football kits in 2009-10 with those brilliant City and England kits they did. Simple old fashioned designs, nice soft fabric. But even those were slightly ruined by our shit badge at the time... until Puma brought out that 125 YEARS shirt the other year which is the nicest City shirt in our history.
But I’m only really bothered about what it looks like from the stands on the players. As long as the shade of blue on the shirts is right (hated laser blue), and we have white shorts (“blue and white they come together, we will carry on forever more”); I’m happy.
I prefer navy or white socks. Navy socks is City, and I always think white shorts and socks make the sky blue shirt standout more (see Umbro 2009–10 and the 2019 Community Shield at Wembley in the 125 YEARS Puma kit).

What do you think? I still much prefer the guess to the actual if that is the kit.
The Chelsea home is atrocious though.
That Umbro kit is perfection.I’d say we’ve had no more than four nice home kits since the start of branding on kits in the 1970s.

Just FYI the guy who runs this site HATES City; I assume he’s a rag. Go back through the years and read his annual comments on the new kits and you’ll see what I mean.we've had some god awful kits down the years:-

I really like that. What is the relevance of the 93:20 in the collar - 10 years since that aguero moment? If this is the Kit then i like it.
