City’s New Kits - 2021/22

Plain neat red shirt with matching collar and cuffs no daft patterns or quirks
Tradional coloured shorts and trim
Traditional coloured socks trim and devil motif

That kit is probably all a fan could ask for, traditional, no nosense and respectful to the clubs colours.

Blue specs off adidas had done them a decent kit, sponsors wank mind and badge repulsive

As said it's the same as NYCFC and looks great in blue

Still it's theirs so it's shite, plus it teamveiwer the new name for the fans ;-)
They have a generic kit. Ours is unique only to us, and directly celebrates the decade anniversary of our greatest moment in modern history. You can’t ask for more than that.

I can ask for

  1. The correct shade of blue
  2. A decent collar preferable in white but navy acceptable
  3. White shorts
  4. Navy socks, though sky blue is ok if honest
  5. Not some cheap knockoff of what was also a poor kit just because we won the league in it, complete laziness from puma.
  6. No gimmicks, just a nice traditional looking city kit, no bells no whistles

Also the away kit should be all maroon and third white with navy trim and shorts or white with a sash, none of this nonsense we get served up each year.

I am an middle aged old **** and like things traditional, the kit looks poor to me.

Others can like it, their choice and I would not thin kthey were wrong, just of a different opinion and that is cool.

What’s the correct shade of blue? It’s different almost every season.

The shade of blue we wore with Colin Bell in 67/68 (arguably the most classic City shirt) is different than almost every shirt we’ve worn over the last 40 years for example. You’d think you’d know this considering your attitude towards the kits is that of an old man.

Puma can’t make the same generic City kit every season just to please someone who will never buy them. They need to sell hundreds of thousands of these kits every year and that means mixing things up.

We’d all love the 09/10 or 67/68 kit each season but the reality is that this just doesn’t make sense in the modern world where sales need to be made.

I was once told by someone at Umbro that the 10/11 shirt was the worst selling home shirt of their last contact with us by far. The reason was because it was too similar to the 09/10 shirt and this is what led to the 11/12 and 12/13 shirts having more unique designs.
