Also got the home one from the same set. Both XL but enormous. It was the 90s!

Can't see any on eBay, might list it/them, but will take offers.

I'd be quite happy to sell it/them as tbh I'll never wear them again. Bad memories. Long story.

That was the Pisser that particular season -I actually Binned the H top (regret it now obviously) -but the white one is still one of my all time favourites (never liked the Purple thing -so I never bought it)

I don’t doubt that it’s a loss-making enterprise, but if that’s the case, why are the manufacturers keen to sign these deals in the first place?

It’s part of their marketing budget, can be written off against tax and also helps attract players to club-associated endorsement deals such as Grealish etc

Yep the weirder and rarer aways and third shirts sell for fortunes nowadays
That a shop in prime real estate on Deansgate can make a comfortable living selling smelly old loft-find shirts tells you how big a business it is nowadays

I remember the laser blue being suggested to allow City more floodlit lower league home games... and be prepared for dingy away games. Was in secondary school and it felt like City became reinvented... rejuvenation... and Typical City all at once.

Liked the laser for that initial, penultimate season and final Maine Road season. Other times it looked bobbins.
