City’s New Kits

This is correct. You aren’t ready for how nice it looks in longsleeve.

The last long sleeve City shirt I bought was the Umbro black shirt with Orange on the shoulders. Even mates who hated City always complimented that shirt.

Don't really buy the shirts these days, but would probably get the long sleeve version of this.

Looking at some of the photos of City tops from seasons past reminded me how much I liked them. Looked up prices for some online and blimey they are expensive.

On another note, are we one of the only clubs that often has garish looking third shirts, this year aside? Perhaps it's recency bias," but it seems like we wear ones many wouldn't be caught dead wearing but some other clubs actually have quite nice looking third kits.

Tbh I think lots of fans of other clubs feels that way about their kits also.

Having seen a leak privately through a friend of a friend it's a grey/off white colour with this "volt" around the collar, down the sides. Badge is a weird mixture of "volt" and blue. Etihad in "volt" too. Round collar. It's absolutely minging.

Just been watching the Hull vs Coventry game, and noticed that Hull have Kappa as their kit supplier. They did decent kits for us. Even the laser blue wasn't that bad. Granted, the Wembley '99 kit was horrendous.

Sounds like they're trying to riff of of the 2000/2001 away kit with those colours? The off/white grey being a shade of silver when seen in person, but because the very shiny fabrics aren't used anymore it probably comes across as grey?

Crazy they would sign off in this when they're trying to squeeze every penny out of the fans. Doesn't sound like it'll be a seller but then the kids might like it.

I wouldn't say it's similar to that in all honesty - definitely closer to white than that colour

Not sure if it's a coincidence, but Puma's kits for both Galatsary and Milan next year are believed to be white, with two extra colours. Wonder if they're doing a set of kits for their top tier clubs which all follow a similar theme like Nike did for us a few times....

It’s not like these. The badge and puma logo are central like on the 22/23 home shirt

Interesting article re: fake football shirts. According to the Atlantic, they asked all 20 Premier League clubs if they'd support a cap on football kit prices. It does not seem like they would as most clubs did not respond if I recall correctly. The article is pay walled. There are ways to find it for free online.

If I was in charge I’d cap kids/youth kits at £25.

Guaranteed to sell out and also cement the next generation of fans

Just as an aside, my 14 year old child has to wear adult size kits.

The sizing for age 15-16 year is total nonsense and a complete rip off
