City’s New Kits

The Embassy kit. Umbro really were taking the piss with that one. I was glad we fucked them off shortly after they gave us that (or they fucked us off…can’t remember which).

Yeah, I was gutted we lost Umbro in many ways...and so glad we hooked up again 2009-13 to give us some of our best kits ever. But those final 90s years when they were focused on united weren't great (that one being the worst).

The final Umbro home shirt from that era was so pale as well. That was one of the reasons we went so extreme with the colour of the first Kappa home shirt. It was a dramatic course correction and for some probably too much so.

Only noticed it yesterday when I saw it at close quarters for the first time in the City store. The Gold PL champions badge doesn't have the season on it. Or am I imagining that?

Spotted this colourful City top in the crowd tonight.

Dont know if thats a concept kit or a training kit of some sort but i was in a little back street shop in crete over the summer that they had loads of pretty whacky concept kits for loads of teams and some were amazing!!

No, there is no season years on it this time, just plain gold.
