Wonderful moment towards the end when the final sub (Nolito) was about to be brought on and Willy was trying to bring to the attention of the bench that Zabs was injured and had to come off. Needless to say our Argentian Manc was having none of it, and didn't he love it after the final whistle?!

I too was fuming after the rags match but feel a little foolish now. The results in the last two matches, (together with the unbelievable wealth available from the Champions League as opposed to the League Cup), completely vindicates Pep's selection that night

not read the whole thread so its probably already been said

this for me is the landmark significant win we have been looking for, in that we have beaten a top top team in a meaningful game playing the way we did, psg at home last season doesn't didn't feel like this

Second half was where Pep realised that the longer ball from defence solves 2 problems ie we are not yet as good as Barca playing the passing game from our own penalty area and secondly the direct forward ball from defence has more chance to allow our fast attackers to cause problems.

One of the best performances I've seen from a city side. Pep's reorganisation after their goal changed everything in terms of our shape and potency. To a man the effort and work rate was superb but I felt Sergio in particular grafted unbelievably and deserved a goal, his role in our third where he won the ball on the edge of our box was fantastic. Well done boys very proud this morning.
