I'm happy with Rodwell signing but I do find it very strange everton not putting a fight, even more so because it's us
They are 100% in the shit from a financial point of view. The deal done for Jelavic was a staged payment transfer which should be ok. But the have been hemorrihaging cash for several years. Moyes now knows to keep his mouth shut,
Cahill leaving is a real indicated of the problems, Rodwell being sold is good business. Fellani can't be sold, take him out of the team and its relegation time. Baines leaving, well the money being offered isn't good enough. Rodwell, is the only sale that raises some decent cash that they can justify. Pienaar coming back needs paying for. I would have liked Fellani, but that would be for the same money that you spend on Martinez, or possibly DDR. Rodwell has real potential to reach the top and what will probably £12 million down with add on's is good fee.
