City announce deal with Wolf Blass wines

if your purpose in drinking is only about getting pissed then, yes, you have a very good point.
i drink wine purely for the gorgeous taste of it and a bockle of that piss would spoil my day.

LOL.

Actually I find all the Aussie Reds quite drinkable including Wolf Bass. I've got a bottle of it in my wine rack right now.

Out of interest what's your tipple?

depends on the time of the day, brother, haha. or the occasion.
i leisurely drink alcohol every day, a fair bit of it, i love it,
but only decent quality stuff, otherwise it gives you a headache the next morning.
the crap that they are allowed to put in cheap booze is nothing short of the corporate poisoning of the masses.

australian wine is shipped over here in huge containers, bottled and then knocked out as quick as possible.
any wine with a screw-on top is piss and is not at all good for your liver.

wine, in my opinion, like each and every great pleasure in life, becomes better with age,
it should sit in barrels for years & then settle in the bottle for more years.

i feel lucky to live in europe, where the best red wines are made, the finest single malts are produced and the loveliest ales are pumped out daily,
so for me, wolf blass gets a big fat no.

Quite partial to the odd bottle of Yellow Label.

More a Red Label man myself. Just checked and the one in the wine rack is a Red Label (£5 from Morrison's on offer). I quite like a Shiraz. The critics all say it's shite but what's the old saying again?

"I know now't about wine but I know what I like".
