City are set to promote Denayer, Lopes, and Iheanacho

but thats not correct, we only buy players remember. We are ruining football, we don't produce organically through our academy. This can't be right. Wait until Platini hears about this, we should expect to get fined

Ihenachio is definitely ready and it seems Denayer is ready as well and will probably take Boyata's place in the squad. Lopes also acquitted himself well at Lille last season so it is also a good outcome for him. It is interesting to see the team dynamics next season and how the players are used but altogether, this is the kind of news we all like and want to hear. Good luck to all of them for next season.

I think at 12m most people understand that he was a budget buy to get another body in whilst under restriction. He signed for what we sold Rodwell for, for comparison

Always going to be a 'might surprise but probably squad player' scenario. He will retain most of his value so not really a big problem

I would certainly give him another season, we were all saying what a great signing he was last year and you don't lose the talent. I think he has ben caught out with the pace of the PL but will come good.

Reading is hard

I was at the City v West Ham game when he made his debut. Started in a CDM role, and played very well. I wouldn't be a fan of playing him there again though, but just letting you know, that he has in fact played CDM quite a bit in his career ;)

It would be better if denayer didn't Play in one of the worst leagues in the world. If he would've gone to a better league we may have had a better idea at how could he actually could be. Some of those Scottish teams are on par with some league 1 sides. I think because of this he'll go on loan again, hopefully to a half decent league this time.

He's stood up to every test that's come his way so far, including European football and international football.
