If people didn't post such daft shite I wouldn't feel the need to correct it before the gullible kids on here believe it.

What part of my post do you need to be gullible to believe?

I suppose you might need to be more positive than you feel comfortable being? (and thats not a criticism but I do sense we are built differently.) But I don't think gullible is an appropriate word.

DD it might just be that I am closer to being right than you and I reckon if thats the case you would be OK with that once it's happened?

With all due respect, fbloke, the vast majority of the post is just nonsense with absolutely no factual basis apart from you having a Lutheresque "dream".

What basis do you have for believing that our players will give vast sums to charities? What basis do you have for this utopian belief that we will win trophies but not gloat? That we will have a ground full of kids who pay 3 and 6 pence to get in? That we will be the best move on player's CV?

etc etc etc.

It is indeed a golden time for Manchester City because we have an owner who is loaded and who looks like he is prepared to invest to get us to the top table. That in itsself is a truly wonderful thing and it appears that his return on that investment may come in different ways. I certainly hope so because I can't see a successful City side being self-sustaining for a long long time.

My vision is that we will continue to improve. I think we'll win trophies soon. I think we'll challenge for the league. Hell, we might even win it within a few years. I think we'll play in the champions league, maybe as soon as next year.

But all this talk about City saving the World is just embarrassing, fbloke.

Keep it real. That's all I'm saying.

And I have said before that I suspect we are very different beasts when it comes to how we see things.

So when you suggest I keep it real I can only ask, why?

There really are some unique opportunities for the football club we both support to change the way things are done and by the way I think they will take them.

Take yourself back to the time before Thaksin and imagine that I was describing these times we have now to you.

And we're gonna be bought by these trillionaire arab dudes who are gonna buy Robinho, Tevez, Adebayour and loads more players - £300m i reckon.

Then they are gonna build a new training facility on 59 acres of land across from COMS and enter into a partnership with the council to extend COMS and build hotels and loadsa other stuff na dwe are gonna be in the CL by 2011.

And they are gonna let people in for a tenner and give a free replica shirt t kids if they go with their dads.

And there gonna be a thing called CIty street............

DD would tell me to keep it real people, he would!!

I think if you had predicted that fbloke most on here would have voted to get you certified ! lol !

I like your 'vision' and believe there could well be something in it. The Sheik wants City to be more than just another successful football club.

We are indeed different beasts, fbloke, and I'm pretty happy with that.

I don't think you're a bad poster, I quite like you in some ways, but you don't half get carried away in your desire to start threads and get noticed. Sometimes you don't engage your brain before you type them.

If you really want to share "your vision" you are totally entitled to.

But I see it as my duty to counterbalance your fantasies with some common sense. That's why we are indeed different beasts. We will be a successful club, I am sure of that. But the rest of your post, I believe, is make-believe.

I did smile at the point when you harrumphed "...we will not gloat..." though. And some of the kids definitely buy into you.

I think you two are quite similar, so similar that you are the same beast.

With two backs.

You're gay.

Ok, I admit, I gave up halfway through that.

We aren't the same, as fbloke says.

He takes bitching a lot better than I do.

I'm a right twat if someone takes me to task.

Fbloke's pretty good about it, fair play to you mate.

I expected more from you Damocles.

But I bet I'm not the first to say that? First bloke perhaps?

-- Tue Apr 06, 2010 1:55 pm --

We aren't the same, as fbloke says.

I comes from the certainty that I am right.

I pitty the little people really.
