Actually.. our demise through the 90's was so systematic that it was not as painful to me as the false dawn under the Thai Nutter buy out... at first we were flying , the

reality bit... Sven.. usesless
Sinawatra... corrupt and skint

club sliding back towards the abyss

Boro... 8-1 defeat.... arrogant rags crowing... oh ffs

As John Cleese's character in the film Clockwise reminded us with the memorable quote

" It's not the despair, Laura. I can stand the despair ... it's the hope !!

But for sinawatra we would not have had Gary cook and our wonderful owner now and he laid on some free grub too. Don't really care if he ordered the murder of of drug dealers in his own country and pinched all his money , those noodles in Albert square were lovely! A great guy to play golf with...

Re: City at their lowest..top trumps

I was at the Mansfield game Sat in the Maine stand but for Me I hated the second season under Pearce.

Shit football.
Never scored ever!!.
A fucking teddy bear as goodluck.
Blasting out fans songs out of the speakers.
Dabo - To all the JCL who say Garcia is the worst player they've seen, well he's like Patrick Vieira compared to that sack of shit.

Truly shite days give me York away any day at least it was fun back then and not wanting to slit your own wrists after every boring game under pearce. If only we signed Mido.

Lincoln 4-1
Barnet 1-0
Liverpool 6-0
Derby 6-0

I went to the 4-0 Liverpool game on the Wednesday. Thought we played better second half so naively went back on the saturday thinking we would get a draw. 6-0 and was chased across Stanley park by margi Clare's love child with a pen knife!! Had better days.

Me to, went to both, pissed up both times and both times got chased, they weren't the days :)

After beating Munich midweek I couldn't help thinking about my low points watching City & came up with these I was at.

Halifax 1980 FA Cup defeat
York away defeat, and fuck off I was there!
Mansfield home defeat, freight bollox trophy,3000 in ground
Oxford home late 90s,lost 2 0,Kevin Francis looked like Maradona and they sang we're bust but we're beating you.

I think those 4 take some beating but I'm throwing down the gauntlet.....
agree with Halifax but add Shrewsbury six years earlier
derby county away, 6-0, Colin Hendry had just signed
Luton 83

Shrewsbury was the season before Halifax.
We signed Hendry after (and because of) Derby.

Luton for me, other relegations were bad, but I became immune to them after a while....

Sat 13.11.1999
MCFC 1 - 2 Stockport County

Oh the fucking shame of it! :)

3 times they beat us this one at home
