City bus scheme for home games - bus tracking (P91)

Absolutely shambolic on the MC5 post match. Left 10 minutes after everyone else had gone, then took the heavily congested Mancunian Way route which was rightly binned mid season due to inevitable delays. And then to compound the fiasco, missed the turn off for Mauldeth Road, necessitating a magical mystery tour of Withington’s back streets, briefly heading back towards town and then a U turn in the middle of Wilmslow Road. Then had to ask passengers for directions to Didsbury
A farce from beginning to end
Sorry for any delays you faced, we sent the others earlier as they were full but we just wanted to make sure we got all the returns on where we could as it was a very busy night. I am sorry to hear what happened on the journey home too, I will speak to the operator tomorrow to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future. I hope you did enjoy the game though, and we hope to serve you again next season!

Me and my son have used the 11 numerous times this season to and from the ground and its always been brilliant. Good value for money, always bang on time. The regular driver is a great guy. Thanks for your efforts with keeping people up to date and expanding the service.

The service has got better and better. Thanks. Last night was good because some left early for those with trains to catch and others waited for the KDB event.

I haven’t used the buses this season but I’ve been following this thread as I may do in the future.

But I did want to say a huge thank you to Katie for keeping the forum regularly updated, even in live time. And also for clearly listening to feedback and acting on it.

It makes such a refreshing change these days to feel like you’re dealing with an actual real life person, who’s prepared to listen and quickly feedback on issues. Rather than the normal…We’ll try to get back to you sometime in the next month if we can be arsed.

Funnily enough I'm exactly the same as you, I've been following this thread all year despite never actually using the service. Getting away after the game last night was definitely a final straw though so I've already bookmarked the details of the number 13 service ready for the start of next season!

If that's Katie who's usually on the Altrincham service yes she does a great job and is always good for a chat.
 
Great service again on the 13 bus, driver was switched on with lane changes to avoid cars queuing for car parks on the way in well done that man, can’t fault the service at all but you know my next point let’s get the price down ;) or at least make everyone pay the same, preferably the lower rate of £6 rather than £8. See you next season.

I have to catch a bus to get to the pick up point which probably puts a few people off as it adds another 50% on top. It would be good if there was a way of having the connecting buses included in the £8 at least.
