Funnily enough I'm exactly the same as you, I've been following this thread all year despite never actually using the service. Getting away after the game last night was definitely a final straw though so I've already bookmarked the details of the number 13 service ready for the start of next season!
We look forward to having you next season!

Great service again on the 13 bus, driver was switched on with lane changes to avoid cars queuing for car parks on the way in well done that man, can’t fault the service at all but you know my next point let’s get the price down ;) or at least make everyone pay the same, preferably the lower rate of £6 rather than £8. See you next season.
Thanks for the lovely feedback! Yes I knew what was coming, I couldn’t forget, you wouldn’t let me! :-)

me too...tram being binned.......need to get a bus to Ashton now just need to know where to start. 231 goes past my house but isn't reliable and on night games I've never seen one.

We have 2 services going to Ashton opposite the city centre shuttles on Ashton New Road. Let me know if you struggle next season and I can send you some pictures of where they are.

Diamond cover the weekday fixtures and Go North West on the weekend.

Cheers I had been away in Tenerife for six weeks and when I got back the regular driver on the Altrincham bus was like, "Where have you been??" We had a catch up chat but the next home game it was as a different driver who told me they were running them now.

I hope you had a nice break! No just the weekends! But things may change again for the next season. All the planning starts now. I will see you next season, have a lovely summer!

Bus 6 was excellent last night and tbf that is our usual experience. Probably, like all the regular users of the matchday bus, we have evolved a new routine around the service. In our case this involves using a local boozer for a pre journey refresher, and, very pleasant that has proven to be.

I do hope that the scheme is here to stay and my thanks to all that are involved with its provision

Sounds like a good routine to me! You’re very welcome, we are blown away with all the positive feedback, it really is nice to hear that our hard work is paying off and we have so many happy supporters!

Yep a few scoops before and if it’s an early kick off a bite to eat and few more scoops after, my wife hates it :)

My two attempts to use this service were amongst early teething problems - but I've continued to watch the thread as I really want this to be an option. Glad to hear than the 7 route has worked well as I've now spotted some new EV chargers near to New Mills station. That is one of my routes in and in an ideal world I leave the car to charge whilst I go to the match - could well be an option, especially for evening matches as train is not an option.

216 rarely turns up either. Had to walk home again Tuesday night.

Doesn’t help with all the coaches/minibuses parked at the Asda bus stop meaning normal buses can’t pull in.

Terrible service, tram and bus, heading east.
