The Rochdale one - why does it start at the bus station, but on the return journey it lists the last stop as "Manchester Road/Queensway".

I never get it going to the game as it gets there too late for us, but have used the x one last season a couple of times for the way home (though my 8 year old was pleading for us to get off while only 5 minutes into the journey due to the shouting and swearing behind us) (i wouldn't get off, i'd paid!). But if we're to be dumped away from Rochdale town centre leaving a long walk with a kid and my bad hip, i see no point using it :( Looks likes it's practically ending at Sudden/Tesco junction, just past Castleton. £4 for me and £2 for him, on top of me paying normal buses to get there early, only to have a 20 minute walk when we get off to even get to Rochdale bus station... strange choice. Will it be going to the bus station in future? I'm aware of the roadworks on Manchester Road, but a bus can cut up drake street to avoid most. Last seasons x service ended at the bus station.

(And you should update your route map in the city page, it still shows it starting in castleton, cheers!)

I’m assuming you’re aware of the road closures/temporary traffic lights around Astley and Mosley Common which will probably effect the M11?
Hello, yes don’t worry we always check roadworks along the bus routes prior to games and will divert buses where necessary.

The finer details are still being updated it seems, the maps are all still out of date and some of the new stops still have placeholder details (for the What 3 Words locations). Could be a bit confusing for some users.

Hello, don’t worry this is an error, the bus will be taking you back to the bus station! I have spoken to the team to get this sorted! The maps are still being created at the moment but they will be updated in due course. Sorry for any confusion.

Extremely disappointing that despite feedback, you haven’t added Chorlton, Whalley Range and Hulme to the routes
Huge blue areas and loads of us have simply given up on the rubbish, unreliable, dangerously overcrowded trams
Ubers it is, I guess
Seems like the outer boroughs and yonner areas are being prioritised over the actual heartlands of the club’s support. Money spinners cos of the zones

Thanks for getting in touch.

TfGM and Manchester City work closely together to monitor supporter feedback and requests for bus stops throughout both the season and off-season. We use this insight to look at how we can improve the bus network for fans.

We prioritise areas with a high concentration of Manchester City supporters across Greater Manchester. However, there are plenty of those areas, and unfortunately, we’re not able to meet every request.

That said, your feedback is really valuable and helps shape future planning. Please keep sharing your thoughts — they genuinely make a difference.

Is Matchday bus 17 real? The link on the timetable page goes to.

We couldn't find that page

Can you make sure to thank Chat GPT for your automated, word salad, bullshit out of hours response?
About as sincere as a Boris Johnson/Trump promise
A bit harsh that response I thought, @matchdaybus has been really helpful in this thread and the responses are of course going to sound similar when there isn’t much else to say but at least it’s acknowledging the opinions.

I do agree with you though and think these buses are best for the outposts of the area but maybe that’s the right thing. After all there are other options for those closer to the stadium, including unlimited buses for £5 or unlimited buses/off-peak trams from £5.40 - £7.80 (depending on zone).

To be fair, this bus service was brought in because of how hard it is for the outer fringe areas of the conurbation find it getting to the Etihad. You think that people in Chorlton don’t like the Met service but people in Wythenshawe have to travel for 25 minutes at painful snail’s pace on that Met service before it even gets to Chorlton. Whereas the 86 bus only takes that long from Chorlton to Town.

Hello, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I have flagged this with the team this morning so hopefully that will be sorted soon.
Are they still getting timings sorted for bus 12? There’s nothing listed for the Spurs game yet. Also the What 3 Words locations are still wrong for the new stops. And which zone is Whitefield in?

Also I can see the zone map for the network has been updated but they have actually removed the zones from it!

It says that the buses depart approx 45 mins after the game..is this correct?
Pretty sure last season it was about 20 minutes after the game..45 minutes would be much better as I'm in SS3 and no way can I make it in 20 minutes

Any update on using the app & adding the route to “favourites”. It wouldn’t work last season even when you tried
