City charged by FA for failing to control players against Spurs

Fine seems excessive but allegation of surrounding match official not hard to prove. Guilty verdict necessary to act as deterrent to others at this level and as a message to participants at all levels.

Overall it would feel better if referee was admonished/disciplined for an extremely poor performance in this particular match and on other occasions

We should pay a million instead and declare Man City will be pleased to fund a new generation of PL refs up to standards in the best league in the world and that we also understand how embarrassed Pigmol, FA and PL must be to justify so many laughable ref decisions week in week out. We also could offer Simon Hooper free diet coaching in our academy if he wants to improve his overall concentration levels.

Seems abit one sided what fine did the ref get ?
He's been told it's a an error and we all make mistakes and been offered counselling since he was so upset.
Whereas for our players who've put in a ton of effort, seem their emotions go up and down during an intense game and then see a chance to win at the death snatched away through an error of such incompetence it has been rarely seen before with one of the last known ones being......Rashfotrds non offside at ghe swap.
Yet the club is heavily fined for the players showing some emotion.

Web when talking about Hooper a "he be devastated" no punishment no reprimand!

I feel if a referee punched a city player and our player get outraged we still be fined and the referee will get from web "he was under so much pressure I can't blame him smashing Rodri nose in"
