FFPR aside, I think our club is heading in the wrong direction.

I always remember what Khladoon said in that video all those years ago about the club, it's values, and the fans.

His words are starting to sound a little hollow in my opinion.
Dead right jrb, he's let us down being style with that monstrosity to the south east of the stadium

Stop it, you know what I mean. ;-)

Nobody can fault Sheikh Mansour for what he's spent and done for the club, but it's little gestures like this that normally sets our club apart from the rabble.

Are we really that badly off that we have decided to charge WBA away fans £56? I'm sure if we'd returned the compliment and charged their fans £39, more WBA fans will make the effort.

As it is we'll just end up doing an Arsenal, and filling the away end with City fans paying through the nose for those seats. Maybe that is the ultimate goal?

QED

Its ridiculous at anytime but when the game is live on tv it is positively stupid! another nail in the coffin of the peoples game!

It's disgraceful, shame on the club. For being greedy.

You can see its already having an effect cos most the people I sit around now are older middle aged men

City are pricing lots of fans out of the game, btw we don't have to charge those prices at all. Dortmund charge something like 130 quid for there season ticket and match day ticktd are like a tenner. The manage to win the league and get to finals without ripping of fans.

I'm quite happy for us to do it to Arsenal, Chelsea et al. the ones that rip us off but that's £17 more than they charged us.

Why should the fans have to suffer because their club rips us off? We as fans are all in this together. It doesn't matter what team we support; away ticket prices should be capped. In fact ticket prices in general are a joke any anyone who mentions supply and demand should look at Germany where the clubs look after the fans.

£62 rings a bell.

I was going to post the same. Indefensible either way but harder to stomach when it is our own club.
Not a massive difference is it either, 6 quid. I'm surprised we've done that to west brom.

They'll probably turn us over now!!

The sooner the FArce and PL sort out a maximum charge for away fans the better.

on a slightly different note, what happened to the cheaper away ticket matches.

we had Fulham 2900 @ 24.50 (ignoring kids and seniors)=71050 quid
and
spurs 2850 at approx. 25.50 allowing for upper and lower=72675quid

each club was allocated 200k from the premier league, and the club made a big song and dance about each player and each senior staff member donating a grand each, so add another 40k, there is still 100k to be used, anyone know what is happening, will it be palace away?.

as for charging wba fans or any away fans 56 quid, totally appalling and shows how out of touch the people making the decisions are.

We are no better than any of the other greedy bastard clubs ripping off fans.

If I was a west Brom fan or a city fan with no ST I would just wait and see what the next 4 games brings. See where we/they are and assess then.

Some wanker in charge of pricing is probably doing this to get a decent bonus at the end of the year when he shows how much extra revenue he has added.

To think only about 12,000 extra tickets a game are sold. The extra £15 a game (as £15 less is about right) brings in around £2.5m year.

Scott Sinclair cost £8m.

Crazy.

Very easy to see why they are doing it.WB fans refuse to come at that price (rightly so IMO) therefore more tickets for City fans (I`m using that word carefully,as I`d be more inclined to use the word Plastics/Tourists) who unfortunately will be prepared to pay that amount if we are in with a shout of winning the league.
If thats the case its just morally wrong.
