City condemn racist abuse of Rico Lewis by Sevilla fans | Paltry €5k fined issued by UEFA (p7)

Not sure how they will recover from that to be honest.

Big fucking deal!

UEFA always has banners and on-screen messages about equality and respect of others, but this action makes it look like they’re not at all serious about tackling racism.

The players should stop wearing any silly little badges or armbands that UEFA employ as anti racism box ticking virtue signalling shite and when we’re inevitably pulled up on it at a press conference, have a lawyer on hand to detail the many instances of UEFA actively encouraging racism by giving offenders a slap on the wrist

I mean didn’t these cunts want to fine us more for booong their shitty little jingle than they fined Seville for their moronic fans’ behaviour

Yep the amount of times Eastern European sides whether Ukrainian Russian or Serbian, like CSKA Moscow abusing Yaya they all get away with racially abusing black players it's nowt short of a disgrace, you see it every now and again at a Spanish or Italian game too and think wow wtf!

The truth is if UEFA actually handed out extremely heavy handed penalties to these teams, then with severe repercussions it'd send the message loud and clear and trickle down the braindead mob that persist, if it would be dealt with immediately even hardcore racist fans of clubs would bite their tongue if it meant their team suffering too much.

They don't even attempt to change attitudes or behaviours with their laughably soft idea of a punishment, yet when it comes to us booing their shite anthem that really grabs their attention, they're nothing but self absorbed bastards looking at getting richer without a care for players being racially abused.

Paltry fines for very serious issues..Just read RoI women fined 20k Euros for pro IRA chants..WTF..Seriousy a Blue gets screwed for running on the pitch, read it on this forum, but somehow these players walk away free from prosecution..tell me what is worse ?? Dipper fans walk away scot free after multiple abuses..The fine should fit the crime, UEFA should actually stop this abuse now..Any racism, ban individuals for life and the club for a year from European competition.Anounce it at the start of the game. See how many cocky ignorant fuckers will abuse people then. As for Rico, a 17 year old decent bloke gets abused, I see no justice in UEFA..They are too scared as they full well know it is endemic and will not act. Gutless.

What players are you talking about here? This thread is about Seville fans.

they are pretty stupid in Spain when it comes to this.

Most don't actually realise the racist insults they give out may actually hurt.

A lot just see it as a way of putting of a player they see a danger off their game.

On the other hand when it comes to homophnic abuse, they hunt you out on the crowd and arrest you.

The only issue with banning clubs is (for example) Liverpool play abroad and their fans racially abuse a home team player and get a Euro ban - but Liverpool find evidence that in fact it was fans of another club (for example, lets say Chelsea) who were intent on smearing the excellent reputation of Liverpool fans and have the club banned.
