If this is true, than i would say it is stuped. You can't make an offer and when it is accepted you ask for a time to think about it. You shoud have done your homework prior making any offer.

Sad to learn that in todays programme notes by Leeds United chairman Ken Bates that Leeds accepted our bid of £10m, but that we "asked for 7 days to think about it"

I agree, but putting in formal bids on players we're not interested in is no way to do business.

Personally I'd prefer we were interested in that type of player.
