Always liked Quinn at City and was very popular at the time but could be frustrating.Thats about right. Mind you, Reid's side was a bit one dimensional: win the ball, spray it out to the right, long cross to Quinn, knock down, win second ball, shoot.
I don't know what happened to Quinn, but he was always very complimentary to us previously and talked about the spirit at City. Disco pants was said to have its origin in a drunken Quinn dancing on the table in a bookies.
To a certain extent reminded me a little of Dzeko. Bit of a 'target man' ,big beanpole up front, scored loads but when he had an off day he was off! ( Obviously Quinn never had the quality around him that Edin did.)
Apart from his penalty saving heroics remember the hatrick at Crystal Palace being one of his best games. Remember it being described as the 'perfect hatrick' one with the left, one with the right and one with the head!
